BERGAMO FILM MEETING | 36th Edition | 10-18 March 2018

PRESS ACCREDITATION

Press accreditation is reserved exclusively for professionals of online and print media, radio, television and news agencies.
Press accreditations can be requested starting from December 1, 2017 until February 19, 2018. Accreditation requests received after the deadline will not be considered.

​REGISTRATION
To request a press accreditation you must fill in the specific online form (until February 19, 2018).
New applicants and those who require a press accreditation for a news outlet other than that which they were accredited with in the previous year must send to accrediti@bergamofilmmeeting.it:
a formal request on letterhead signed by the director or Editor in Chief of their news outlet.
In the letter you must specify:
• News outlet information (name, type, frequency, circulation, name of Editor in Chief, area of diffusion);
• Planning, characteristics and timing of coverage;
• Role of the journalist applying.

We can only release a limited number of press passes, therefore sending a request does not guarantee the granting of accreditation.
BFM will notify via email acceptance of the accreditation request, and reserves the right to accept or reject requests at its sole discretion.
All accredited journalists and critics must later provide the Festival with a copy of all articles written on the 36th Edition of Bergamo Film Meeting.

CULTURAL AND PROFESSIONAL ACCREDITATION

Professional Accreditation is strictly reserved for professionals of the audiovisual industry, namely: film delegations attending the 36th Edition of Bergamo Film Meeting (director, producer, screenwriter, actor/actress, officer, staff and crew), buyers, distributor, venue owners, festivals, Film Commissions, institutions.

Cultural accreditations are strictly reserved to those who are professionally involved with the film industry from a cultural standpoint - namely: cultural foundations, film libraries and archives, universities, associations, film schools, film clubs - as well as film and visual media students.

Professional and cultural accreditations can be requested starting from December 1, 2017. Accreditation requests received after the deadline will not be considered.

To request a Professional or cultural accreditation you must fill in the specific online form (until February 19, 2018).

All new applicants and those who require a pass for an institution or company other than that which they were accredited with in the previous year must send to accrediti@bergamofilmmeeting.it:
a formal request on letterhead signed by the Director/President of the institution or company represented. In the letter you must specify:
• Information about the institution/company (name, type, activities);
• Role of the applicant for accreditation.

Student applications for accreditation must be accompanied by a cover letter from a teacher or sent through the Department of Film Studies of their University.

We can only release a limited number of passes, therefore sending a request does not guarantee the granting of accreditation.
BFM will notify via email acceptance of the accreditation request, and reserves the right to accept or reject requests at its sole discretion.

Entrances
Priority accreditations, "Authorities" passes and individual tickets will be admitted in the venues without withdrawing the free voucher at the ticket office.
All non-Priority accreditation holders (press, professional and cultural), season tickets holders (full, reduced-price and daily) and holders of the "single screening" voucher will have to pick up their free ticket from the cashiers at ticket office (inside the Palazzo della Libertà lobby, in Piazza della Libertà) before entering the venue (1 ticket for the morning, 1 for the afternoon and 1 for the evening).
Please note that access to the venues is not allowed for children under 18 years old, with the exception of the Kino Club screenings.

Where to get your badge
Badges can be collected exclusively at the Guest Reception Office, via Torquato Tasso 4 (Bergamo) - first floor - from Saturday March 10 up to and including Saturday March 17 upon payment of a €10 fee (covering administration costs) and exhibition of a valid ID.
Badges can also be collected by a third person, upon exhibition of proxy and a photocopy of the delegator's ID.

Hours:
Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 March: from 10:00 to 19:00
All other days of the festival: from 10:00 to 13:00 and from 14:30 to 19:00

Accreditation entitles to:
• access to all screenings of the 36th Edition of Bergamo Film Meeting (within the limits of venue seating capacities)
• festival catalogues
• BFM 36th Edition official tote bag
• access to all side activities promoted by the Festival (panels, awards ceremony, meetings with authors, parties).

Accreditation fee
€15 covering administration costs. 
For credit applications received after the deadline above and confirmed, a surcharge of 5 euros will be applied to the credit. The cost will therefore be 20 euros.
Method of payment: cash upon withdrawal.

The accreditation badge is strictly personal and not transferable, and does not entitle to hotel hospitality.
In case of loss, duplicates of badges and season tickets will not be released.
