Agerola is a village in the Naples province, above the Costiera Amalfitana. Sabato Cuomo is a philosopher who owns a tobacco shop. He comments on everyday life and the human soul. In his shop, human lives come and go. He introduces us to many characters, such as Marilena (the postman), Stefano (the fashion designer), Lello (the neo-melodic singer), Marinella (former football player), Geremia (the retired man), Angelo (the taxi driver), Nick (the migrant). The film is a portrait of this place and its characters.
