Saint-Paul-Trois-Châteaux. September. Preparations are being finalized for the wedding of Isabelle’s daughter, a bookseller friend of Magali, a 45-year-old single winemaker with two distant children. Isabelle goes to visit her in her vineyard and, feeling the discomfort caused in her friend by loneliness, suggests her to put an insertion in a column of lonely hearts. Magali rejects the idea and soon Isabelle will publish the advertisement presenting herself as her friend.
