Félicie, on holiday in Brittany, meets Charles, a young cook, with whom she has an important love affair. At the time of the separation Félicie, for a slip of the tongue, leaves Charles with the wrong address and for his part the boy, who is leaving for the United States, still has no contact. Five years later, Félicie has a daughter, Elise, from Charles. She lives with her mother and works as a hairdresser at Maxence, with whom she has an affair.
