Pretending to be a successful manager, Petra frequents hotels in tourist resorts to seduce and rob wealthy men. She sends part of the stolen money to her younger sister, Franziska, first to support her studies and later to fund her a translation agency. However, with the police on her trail, Petra is forced to return to her sister in Cologne. There, she discovers that Franziska has also lied about her work and is deep in debt.
