Nicolas Khoury is single and his mother is very worried. She would want him to get married and have kids but what interests him is filmmaking. The camera has been part of his daily life since he was a kid and the images he shot at a young age intertwine with recent footage that bears witness to the tender yet dysfunctional relationship he has with his mother and sister, years after his father’s passing. When his sister Tamara gets married and moves away from home, he is left alone with his mother and her expectations for a “successful life” which he cannot fulfill.
