Paris. The clever Guillaume, under the guise of a séance, seduces the beautiful Suzanne and then abandons her after a few days. The shy student Bertrand, influenced by the behavior of his friend, idealizes the love for Sophie and despises the attitude of Suzanne, who seems to be attracted to him. But time will lead him to revise his beliefs.
