Annecy, Savoy, end of June. Jérôme, a 35-year-old man, arrives on a motorboat to spend his holidays. After that summer he will marry his girlfriend Lucinda. As soon as he arrives in the town he meets Aurora, an old friend who is a writer. She will introduce him to her hostess and especially to her daughter, the eighteen-year-old Laura. Although Jérôme guarantees his disinterest in women with marriage approaching, Aurora tries to push him into Laura’s arms. To completely attract the attention of the man, however, comes another figure: the beautiful Claire, Laura’s half-sister. In particular, Jerome is strongly attracted to a single part of the body: the girl’s knee.
