Podhale, Poland, winter of 1939. Magda is 15 years old, an excellent skier and decides to join the Polish Resistance to bring documents and fugitives to Slovakia through the mountains. The Gestapo is hot on her heels, so she devises a risky plan to lure the Nazis to her, allowing the escapees to pass unseen.
