Rio Corgo

Directed by Maya Kosa, Sérgio Da Costa
Switzerland, Portugal / 2015 / 95'

Silva has walked many paths over the course of his life in the North of Portugal. He has made ends meet as an umbrella repairman, a farmer, a shepherd, a barber, a bricklayer, a miner, a gardener and even as a clown and magician. Now he finds himself in the narrow streets of a remote village, where he has moved into an empty house. He looks elegant wearing his suit, his richly embroidered sombrero, his cowboy boots and the rings on his fingers. And even if the locals avoid this strange wanderer, a young girl is receptive to both him and his stories.
