Julie, a translator, has just moved into a new house with her husband Richard and their teenage daughter, Cecilie. Their life should be that of a perfect and happy family. The news of the death of her favorite singer creates a crack and makes Julie realize that her life is not as it seems. Initially, she feels the urge to buy a piano. Then, during a short trip, in an attempt to fulfill this idea, she completely turns her life upside down.
