The Family Portrait

A quiet Sunday afternoon in the aristocratic family home, just before the fall of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Andras and his daughter Zsofia are surprised by the intrusion into the intimacy of their home of Andras’ brother, Zoltan, along with his large family. A poetic social observation, dark and partly humorous, in which family ties and relationships are dismantled and dissected piece by piece.
