VIDEO IN… PAINTING
Art seen through the magical lens of the camera
“OFF-SCREEN” FILM WORKSHOP
4 meetings: January 14-21-28 and February 4, 2019, from 2:45 PM to 5:45 PM
age: 8 to 10
An approach to visual arts through a game of interpretation of Botticelli’s paintings, revisited through audio-visual technology. Participants will engage in a “full immersion” in the paintings, getting to know them from within and reinterpreting them in a personal and creative way, moving inside them. Four afternoons dedicated to learning and studying the characters: who are they? Where are they? What kind of personality do they have? During the workshop, real film sets will be set up and short videos made using the green screen technique, making Botticelli’s paintings come to life!
The production workshop is preceded by the observation and analysis of the two paintings by Botticelli used as work material: History of Lucrezia and History of Virginia.
Curated and promoted by Bergamo Film Meeting, in collaboration with Avisco – Audiovisivo Scolastico, with the support of the Cariplo Foundation.
WHO IS IT FOR?
Children and teenagers between the ages of 8 and 10.
Previous experience is not required.
