Aurore and Marine are two young soldiers back from Afghanistan. With their section they spend three days in Cyprus in a five star hotel. Amongst the tourists they live what the Army calls a “decompression” period, useful to forget the war and prepare them for a family reintegration that could be traumatic. The two women seem to be ended up there by accident; they try to rediscover the meaning of the daily life, but remain a minority force and looked with distrust by male comrades. This middle-earth made of hedonic luxuries, prepackaged entertainment and local bullocks with guns in the trunk does nothing but returns the image of a world marked by harsh and ruthless rules. Pool parties and psychological discharge exercises will not be enough to erase the war experience.
