A filmmaker embarks on a search for his real family name; the name his family has been passing on from father to son is not the right one. Somewhere along history a father gave his name to a child that wasn’t his. The younger generation doesn’t know all the details and the elders keep their mouths shut. The first person he wants to talk to is his own father, with whom he has always had trouble communicating. In front of the camera, however, they talk more than ever. Meanwhile, Poissonnier discovers many family secrets and feuds.
