
Da-Dzma by Jaro Minne (A Sister and a Brother, Georgia, Belgium 2019), Fame by Luca Buzzi Reschini (Italy, 2019), Inside me by Maria Trigo Teixeira (Germany 2019) and Nacht Ueber Kepler 452b by Ben Voit (Night Upon Kepler 452b, Germany, 2019), will be the four finalists of the Ermanno Olmi Award – First Edition, aiming to promote short films by young directors. During the evening these works will be screened and the jury, composed of Fabio Olmi, Maurizio Zaccaro, Paola Suardi, Angelo Signorelli and Adriano Piccardi, will announce the winners.
The Award Ceremony will be held on Wednesday, December 11 at the Auditorium di Piazza della Libertà in Bergamo
At the end of the Ceremony, will be homaged Ermanno Olmi with the screening of Il mestiere delle armi (Profession of Arms) in a new restoration version, completed in 2019 at the Istituto Luce-Cinecittà laboratories, by Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia – Cineteca Nazionale and Istituto Luce-Cinecittà, from the original 35mm picture and Dolby Master audio. Laboratory work was supervised by director of photography Fabio Olmi. Sound restoration supervision by Federico Savina.
