As Costa-Gavras said “culture will save the world from catastrophe”.
Bergamo Film Meeting 40th edition marks a moment of transition and the emerge of a new thought about cinema as a collective ritual (in presence). How much BFM missed its public and how much the public missed the Meeting, a moment of aggregation and sharing.
The 40th edition presents a different image, where the public and the encounter inside a cinema are at the center of the visual identity.
In order not to forget, today, that sharing is the best antidote.
