    • We at Bergamo Film Meeting Onlus promote and support film culture with a particular focus on quality cinema and authors. We organise cinema-related events and awards throughout the year, live scoring of classic films, workshops, masterclasses and publications. We promote the distribution of films, both fiction and documentaries, and participate in the re-release and distribution of restored copies of classic films.

L’ungherese Béla Tarr, attivo a partire dagli anni Sessanta e autore di soli sette lungometraggi, fra i quali “Sátántángo” e “Le armonie di Werkmeister” è oggi uno dei pochi autori che pensano l’essere riflettendo sulla storia, quella che accomuna individui e cose, sentimenti e paesaggi, trascendenza e materia.
