Le voyage du prince, in the presence of the director
The latest work by director Jean-François Laguionie, Le voyage du prince is a film that, by focusing on intense and sensitive social issues, has the extraordinary ability to convey hope through a language stripped of any excess. Set in a nineteenth century in full economic effervescence, Laguionie moves its protagonists on traditionally made backdrops: the attention to detail and the refined spatial construction make Le voyage du prince one of the most fascinating films available today.
