Gabriella Manfrè (Italy)

She holds a degree in Visual Communications and lives and works in Milan. From 1990 to 2002, she oversaw the production of journalistic programs and television dramas for RAI, including Il tunnel (2002), I racconti di Quarto Oggiaro (1998, Best Television Drama, Ennio Flaiano Award 2000), and Così vicino, così lontano (1998). Since 2001, she has been an executive producer of documentaries, short films, and television programs. Her documentaries include Animol (Special Jury Prize at the Bellaria Film Festival 2004; Best Documentary at Visioni Italiane), È morto Cattelan, evviva Cattelan, and L’estate di una fontanella. In 2006, she founded Invisibile Film, through which she has produced four feature films, including Le quattro volte by Michelangelo Frammartino (2010), as well as around twenty documentaries.

Patrice Toye (Belgium)

Since 1989, she has directed short films, documentaries, and television programs. Her first feature, Rosie (1998), received wide international distribution and numerous festival awards (Berlin, Toronto, Thessaloniki), including the Bronze Rosa Camuna at Bergamo Film Meeting. It was followed by the TV film Gezocht: Man (2005), selected at Rotterdam, and (N)iemand (Nowhere Man, 2008), presented at the Giornate degli Autori in Venice and winner of the NHK International Filmmakers Award at Sundance. In 2022, Bergamo Film Meeting dedicated a retrospective to her work. She currently teaches audiovisual arts at LUCA School of Arts and is completing post-production on a new feature film.

Miguel Valverde (Portugal)

In 2003, he founded IndieLisboa – International Film Festival and currently serves as one of its directors and programmers. He is also the director of Portugal Film – Portuguese Film Agency, representing films from directors such as Teresa Villaverde, Catarina Vasconcelos or João Canijo. He has served on the juries of several film festivals, including CPH:DOX, Sarajevo, Torino, Winterthur, and Valdivia IFF. He also runs the distribution company No Comboio. In 2015 he produced the feature Aqui, em Lisboa co-directed by several filmmakers, including Gabriel Abrantes and Marie Losier. He is currently an invited lecturer at two of Lisbon’s main film schools (ESTC and NOVA/FCSH). In 2024, released his first short film as a director in cinemas, Engine.
