Starting on Tuesday, 1 December 2015, the new yearly fundraising campaign for Bergamo Film Meeting Onlus Associationwill allow supporters to take part in the organization of the 34th edition of the Festival (5-13 March 2016), and to support and boost other initiatives organized all year round by the Association.
Drawing inspiration from several film icons that in the course of time have graced Bergamo Film Meeting’s screens, we imagined different donation typologies. Those who will join the fundraising campaign and/or renew their trust in the Association will be associated with Hollywood stars such as Kim Novak, Peter Sellers, Veronica Lake, Dirk Bogarde and Bette Davis, and will receive free tickets and season tickets to the March Festival, along with many other gadgets, including T-shirts, pins, prints, etc.

Bergamo Film Meeting Onlus has been working since 1983 to offer its audience top-quality cinema, exploring both the international independent production scenario and the invaluable heritage of classic masterpieces, proposing cultural itineraries, organizing meeting with authors and occasions for in-depth critical study of film language, creating educational initiatives for children and adults, etc.. Over the years, Bergamo Film Meeting Onlus has carried on renewing and enriching its cultural offer by working fully in tune with the audience and the territory, and by establishing a deep network of connections and collaborations with many cultural associations, companies and public and private institutions, both national and international.
We believe that cinema is everyone’s cultural asset. This is the idea that the Association seeks to support, promote and spread. We thus ask everyone who shares our beliefs for active support and participation, and to help us carry on with our research and innovation projects, which will keep on inspiring us for a long time in the future.
Supporters will help us organize the 34th edition of the Festival, which is one of the most important European film Festivals; also, they will support and develop the Association’s activities, including special screenings and exhibitions, workshops, creative labs, special cultural events and educational projects for adults and children.
