Christian, a provincial vet, lives a boring, dull middle-class life. Married and childless, he and his wife have set up a small charity to Africa association, which he presides. To break up the monotony of his life, Christian, at night, spends his idle hours surfing the web, where he starts flirting with young African women looking for a better life. One day, out of the blue, Faustine, a 26-year-old girl from Burkina Faso, turns up at his consulting room apparently waiting for something from him. This fact forces Christian to arrange himself up with a certain spirit of improvisation and to a radical rethinking of his lifestyle.
