How to get here

BY CAR
A4 (Milan-Venice) motorway, about 30 miles from Milan (Bergamo exit).

BY TRAIN
Bergamo is well connected to Milan (50 minutes), Brescia (50 minutes) and Lecco (40 minutes). Bergamo railway station is in the city centre and public transport is available to reach other destinations.
Every 10 minutes ATB bus line 1 departs from the station and takes you to the funicular or to Città Alta.

BY AIR 
Orio al Serio International Airport is only 15 minutes away from Bergamo, is well served by national and international airlines and is well connected to the city.
Public transport is available to reach Bergamo and other destinations. ATB bus line 1 departs towards the city centre every 20 minutes from Monday to Saturday and every 30 minutes on Sunday.

Getting around Bergamo

BY CAR

You may reach all Festival areas by car. Please note, however, that you may not be allowed to drive to other areas of Bergamo. Non-residents cannot drive to Città Alta on Sunday (10am-12am; 2pm-7pm). On Thursday, Friday and Saturday, during winter time, from 9pm to 1am.
