International Media Mixer – Live Cinema

The International Media Mixer project, promoted by the Chicago Film Archives and produced in collaboration with Lab 80 film and Archivio Cinescatti of Bergamo, is one of the 15 international artistic partnerships supported by the International Connections fund of the MacArthur Foundation. An intercultural exchange project that has brought together a group of Italian and American filmmakers and musicians and set in motion a process of creating new hybrid artistic works and shed new light on international practices for the conservation and artistic re-elaboration of archive materials of different nature: documentaries, family films, artist and experimental films.
