It was 1975 when Elisabeth left her husband, who beat her, to go and live with her two children in the town of her brother Göran. Here she meets Lena, who has an open relationship with Göran; the neo-lesbian Anna, with her ex-husband Lasse and her son; Klas, who is interested in Lasse; Erik, the revolutionary; and the family of Signe, Sigvard and Moon, who disapproves of the comrades’ lack of rigor. Life in the common proceeds between discussions on how to change the world and quarrels over the cleaning of dishes, but the arrival of new guests disrupts the balance.
