The cinematographic language is quintessentially informative and educational: for this reason we promote workshops, meetings and projects suitable for all ages throughout the year.

Cinema must not fit in education as an “accessory” or a moment of in-depth study of film “juxtaposed” with the rest of the curriculum, but as a poignant moment of an image-oriented conception of pedagogy, which enhances the metaphorical essence of language and languages and which strongly influences all the theoretical and practical elaborations that are placed in it.

Emanuela Mancino, Pedagogia e narrazione cinematografica. Metafore del pensiero e della formazione

Bergamo Film Meeting Onlus offers new educational programs and workshops to school institutions and audiences of all ages, promoting and enriching film culture through analysis and in-depth study of the language of cinema and audio-visual production, with particular attention to animation. Bergamo Film Meeting collaborates throughout the year with several organizations and associations, promoting training courses and workshops.
